it never comes out the way it went in


so you didn’t like the radio electric


so you didn’t like the radio electric
guitar sound waved into your ear

so you reached to change the dial
i’d so carefully on stationed off static

kid brother let me speak
with the voice of inexperience

the car follows the eye
across white lines and lanes of frequency

becomes the drum that drums
a tempo on a drummer made of pavement
